About the Role
Reporting to the Store Design & Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of retail construction projects—from initial design to final handover. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure new stores are delivered on time, within budget, and to our clients global standards.
What you will do
- Lead and manage multiple retail construction projects simultaneously.
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timelines, and cost governance.
- Oversee procurement, supplier management, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
- Conduct site inspections and manage site handovers. (Interstate travel required)
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive value engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, landlords, contractors, and global headquarters.
- Continuously improve processes, sharing learnings for future projects.
- Experience: 7+ years in retail construction and/or fit-outs. New build project experience will be viewed preferably.
- Skills: Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Degree in Construction Project Management (or relevant equivalent).
- Software: Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite.
- Mindset: Agile, adaptable, and proactive with a "can-do" attitude.
